In the story we have Jessica, not just a newbie to the BDSM scene but a complete innocent about it, never having even had any fantasies of that nature. I was grabbed from the start by the great writing, interesting characters and, yes I’ll admit it, amazingly hot sex scenes. Oh my word the words “scorching” “hot” and “sexy” do not do this story justice. There are occasions when this book may well elicit one-handed reading. Phew – do NOT read this anywhere other than the comfort of your own home and preferably somewhere with privacy.
So, onto my thoughts about the book and all I have to say is “wow” and “swoon” and “I’m just going to my room for 5 minutes”. After he discovers her interest in BDSM, he can’t resist tying her up and unleashing the passion she hides within. But the little sub who has wandered into his club intrigues him. Master Z hasn’t been so attracted to a woman in years. But she’s a professional woman–an accountant–and surely isn’t a submissive…is she? At first shocked, she soon becomes aroused watching the interactions between the Doms and their subs. Her car disabled during a tropical storm, Jessica Randall discovers the isolated house where she’s sheltering is a private bondage club.
So why the heck am I doing re-reads when I have a mountainous TBR list? No I have no idea either but I thoroughly enjoyed reading these stories again, so I’m not worrying about it 🤷♂️. – only a handful of the free books I’ve ‘purchased’ on Amazon.īy the time I’ve added all those free amazon books I’m sure the number will hit 4 digits. – free books I’ve gotten through either Prolific Works or Bookfunnel I have a TBR list of over 700 books, this is made up of I constantly feel as though I should be doing something more, but those students already have anxiety and mental health struggles, so school work is the LAST thing they are worrying about at the moment. I think my brain just needed a switch off, a break from the mental stresses of living in a lockdown situation and trying to teach students from home when you aren’t allowed to use any type of video call, just emails and phone calls. Confession time here, on Monday I did a post saying what I would be reading this week, and then promptly chose to ignore those arc commitments and read the first three books in Cherise Sinclair‘s Masters of the Shadowlands series.
